Our Mission.
This movement was built organically by Ontarians with lived experience who understand the challenges firsthand.
We are stronger together. Our work is endorsed and supported by community organizations, including Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Easter Seals Ontario, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, Ontario Brain Injury Association, Hydrocephalus Canada, ALS Society of Canada, and others who share our vision. These partnerships amplify our collective voice, ensuring that decision-makers and policymakers hear the urgent need for fair and equitable access to the devices that empower independence and dignity.

Why ADP Modernization Matters.
An updated ADP would provide essential equipment to support daily living activities such as mobility, accessibility, bathing, and toileting. Devices like portable lifts, hospital beds, and customized shower systems are not luxuries. They are necessities that prevent injuries, reduce caregiver strain, and keep people out of hospitals and long-term care.
By investing in modern assistive technology, we can improve accessibility and safety for individuals with disabilities, reducing emergency room visits and unnecessary hospitalizations. A well-functioning ADP saves lives and money.
